It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Money on June 25th, 2024. Known for her exceptional intelligence, unique personality, and canine-like attributes and character, her absence will be deeply felt.

​

From memory at the animal shelter, I encountered you as the first cat that caught my eye. I recall vividly how you eagerly approached the front of the cage, extending your two paws as if telling me to take you home. Without hesitation, I took the paperwork and officially welcomed you into our home.

 

Money had a mass located behind her eye, which required a series of diagnostic procedures including blood tests, consultations with Ophthalmologists, MRI scans, CT scans, and surgical evaluations. She received prescribed medications and eye drops, displaying remarkable bravery throughout the process. Money, you showed great courage, and we are incredibly proud of you.

 

In her final days, we made sure she received top-notch cat care, with unlimited food, toys, TV time and massages. We said our goodbyes by taking her on a peaceful walk around the lake, sharing heartfelt farewells, and visiting Carey's favorite golf course, The Ritz Carlton.

 

While we are relieved she is no longer suffering, her absence has left a profound void. On our way home, we were greeted by a beautiful rainbow. Every day, I find myself missing her and nagging me for food. Her favorite words are “treat treat” and "food food." I sometimes revisit her favorite spots and look back at her photos and videos, reflecting on her beauty and the unwavering companionship she provided. When I sometimes come back home super late, she is always there for me and makes sure I am relaxed and stress-free.

 

Goodbye, Money-San. Rest in peace. Thank you for 9 incredible years! Your guidance, love, and support will always be treasured. We miss you dearly, Money!

我們非常難過通知你們我的貓貓小錢去世2024年6月25日。小錢很聰明，態度很特別也有小狗性格。

 

在動物收容所，我看你第一隻貓。我記得你走籠前面，突出你兩隻爪子告訴我帶你回家。我很快那張文件，正式歡迎你來我們家。

 

貓貓的眼睛後邊有腫瘤，又看不同的醫生，有驗血，有看特別眼科醫生，照 MRI 和CT，有評論不同的手術方式。小貓貓又食藥和滴眼藥水。牠很勇敢和勇氣。

 

牠最後的日子時，我們比貓貓吃不同的食物，玩不同的玩具，一齊看電視和安排最舒服的按摩。我們帶着牠河邊散步也去Carey最喜歡的高爾夫球場。

 

雖然我們對牠不再受苦，我們很懷念你。回家的路上我們看著的美麗的彩虹。每天都發現自己想念你。你最喜歡字是”Treat Treat” 和 “Food Food.”有時我會重遊牠最喜歡的景點。回看牠的照片和視頻，我真感恩謝謝你每天支持和鼓勵我。當我很晚回到家時，你會在我身邊確保我輕鬆和沒有壓力感覺。

 

再見小錢貓貓Money-San。安息。感謝你和我們度過不可思議的9年。我會永遠珍惜你的愛，支持和鼓勵。我們非常懷念你，謝謝你Money。
