This #WNingWednesday goes out to Dickson Carter for his Hospitality and celebrating our Customer’s special moments! A Customer wrote in to tell us about him:
“Hi Southwest,
I believe his name was Dickson who was a flight attendant on my flight from Orlando to Vegas (stopped through in Dallas) who held a plane party celebrating people’s birthdays, first flights, wedding and cheer competition. Although I was not one of these people celebrating, it was great to see cheer amongst fellow humans and he made it happen. Nice work!

“I feel truly privileged to serve as a Flight Attendant at Southwest. As an ‘A’ Flight Attendant, this opportunity has allowed me to create memories. A mother approached me and informed me it was her son's very first flight, despite him being over 30 years old, it was my heartfelt desire to ensure he had a memorable experience.

Later on, as passengers were boarding, I noticed a woman carrying a lovely bouquet of white flowers. Curiosity got the better of me, and I inquired about the special occasion. Furthermore to my surprise, a group of young girls and a few mothers were boarding, explaining that they were returning home from a dance competition. Additionally, one gentleman mentioned that it was his birthday. I was thrilled to have the chance to celebrate these remarkable occasions on my Ready Reserve only flight to DAL.

I promptly coordinated with my crew and informed the captain about these special events. I must commend him for his graciousness in acknowledging each one of them on the PA system.

The entire experience was incredibly enjoyable, allowing me to fully embrace and showcase the vibrant Southwest culture. I am committed to continuously learning and creating cherished memories for our passengers.”
